About Me

I am Albert — a manual therapist, reflexologist, coach, pedagogue, interpersonal trainer, theatre educator, and actor.

There is abundant information available about Lomi Lomi Nui, its rich Hawaiian cultural heritage, and the spiritual philosophy of Huna. You can easily explore these fascinating aspects yourself with a quick search online.

For me, Lomi Lomi Nui is much more than a massage technique; it is a profound form of bodywork that redirects the muscular tensions we accumulate through our lifestyle — from the work we do and the food we eat, to the thoughts we entertain and the actions we take. These internal tensions create either harmony or discord within us. While some tensions serve a purpose, others become burdensome. That’s where Lomi Lomi Nui steps in as a gentle, healing rescue.

This practice is a powerful tool for reconnecting with yourself. Psychologically, it serves as a journey inward — uncovering repressed or forgotten parts of your being. In Hawaiian tradition, the body is seen as a mirror reflecting our beliefs, actions, and perceptions of ourselves and the world. By working with the body, we can soften and transform the limiting beliefs that have become frozen within us, creating space for conscious change.

This somatic philosophy aligns closely with other holistic disciplines such as Yoga, the Feldenkrais Method, Shiatsu, Polarity Therapy, reflexology, Thai massage, Slavic visceral massage, and deep tissue lymphatic work.

I chose to dedicate myself to Lomi Lomi Nui because it honours the whole person — the physical body intertwined with emotions, imagination, belief systems, and the influences we have absorbed from others.

Most importantly, this work offers the opportunity to break free from habitual patterns and open the door to transformation, empowering you to become the best version of yourself.
